Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 contains a Zombies mode, because of course it does. A listing for the San Diego Comic Con reveals that the studio will be unveiling this year’s incarnation at the show.
”Be on-hand as Zombies director Jason Blundell unveils Treyarch’s new mind-bending tale of the undead. Don’t miss the onstage reveal of the star-studded cast. Attendees will also get an exclusive first look at the Zombies reveal trailer and receive limited edition Zombies memorabilia only available at Comic-Con,” reads the listing.
I have to say, I like the idea of jotting down ‘Zombies Director’ as your last occupation on a CV. Comic Con takes place next month, from July 8-12, and Treyarch will also be revealing the contents of the Black Ops 3 Collector’s Edition, if you’re interested in that sort of thing.
This year’s CoD installment once again heads to the near future, where burly soldiers with advanced exoskeletons and strange, cybernetically enhanced powers spend their days punching robots in the head. The campaign is going to be playable in four-player co-op, and each mode in the game - Zombies, MP and Story - will feature full XP progression. Black Ops 3 launches this November 6.
