Developer Chucklefish has updated its sci-fi sandbox game Starbound with a big new patch – called the Pleased Giraffe update for some reason - that adds a new Colony feature, allowing players to set up a base and attract new NPCs.
Also included are new Challenge Rooms to test your combat and platforming skills, a revised merchant interface for selling your unwanted rubbish, and a tonne of other new items, armour and places to explore.
It’s a pretty major addition, so if you haven’t played Starbound in a while it may be time to head back. In case players are having trouble running the new update, Chucklefish has a couple of tips posted on its Twitter feed.
