ArenaNet has announced that the third and final beta test for their upcoming Guild Wars 2 expansion, Heart of Thorns, will be starting on Friday, 2 October 2015 at 8PM GMT through Monday, 5 October 2015 at 8AM GMT.
The developer states that the content will be limited, but players will enjoy new specializations including the chronomancer, dragonhunter, reaper, tempest, berserker, daredevil, herald, along with the newly announced scrapper and druid.
The reason the beta will feature limited content is because ”We want to keep a strong sense of discovery and not spoil huge parts of the story ahead of time.” As such, only the first story chapter and sections of the initial map from the expansion will be playable during the beta.
ArenaNet also released a launch trailer - the expansion will be available for purchase on the 23 October 2015. Preorders get automatic access to the beta.
