Next week there are 32 ‘new’ games coming to Steam courtesy of the bulging 3D Realms Anthology that’ll explode with PC gaming nostalgia May 5th, ”and the price is absolutely killer,” says 3D Realms director Frederik Schreiber.
It’s an A to Z X of yesteryear and includes Balls of Steel, Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, Stargunner, Terminal Velocity and many more.
”We’re really excited about finally bringing all the 3D Realms/Apogee games to Steam,” said Schreiber. ”This is probably the biggest bundle ever to be released on Steam, besides the Eidos Bundle (34 games in total), and the price is absolutely killer.”
3D Realms Anthology is priced at $40, but at launch it will be 25% off at $30. Neither Prey nor Max Payne are part of the bundle as they’re now owned by Bethesda and Take-Two respectively.
3D Realms Anthology launches on Steam May 5th.
