The original Pathologic came out of Ice-pick Lodge in 2005. The game is an absolutely bizarre first-person survival game in which the player must take on the role of one of three characters in order to try to save a dying town from a devastating plague. An HD version of the game was released today and with it came a trailer accentuating its macabre setting.
The HD version brings this journey back with updated graphics and textures, content that was originally cut, and above all, an entirely new English script and dialogue that replaces the somewhat lackluster translated English of the original version. In honor of the HD release, Pathologic is on sale for 25% off until November 2nd. Bare in mind this is different from an entirely new Pathologic remake that was successfully Kickstarted and is underway for late 2016.
