Bohemia’s latest developer diary reveals a lot of information for Arma 3’s Apex expansion. If you are one of those super hardcore Arma 3 players, there’s a silly amount of content to be very excited about, including: thirteen new weapons, a four player co-op campaign and ten vehicles.
Here’s everything the ten-minute-long video details:
• 100 km² South Pacific island archipelago Tanoa
• New Syndikat faction, NATO & CSAT special forces, and Pacific expeditionary units
• 13 new weapons, new uniforms, headgear, backpacks, NVGs, weapon optics
• 10 new vehicles including new vehicle classes:
• VTOL, LSV, and more
• 1-4 player co-op campaign supporting onlinedrop-in/drop-out
There isn’t a release date for Arma 3 Apex yet and there won’t be until E3, but we will let you guys know as soon as its announced. Here is some information relating to the release date (taken from the game’s Steam page): “The final release date of Arma 3 Apex will be announced during the PC Gaming Show at E3 next week on Monday June 13th. You can purchase Arma 3 Apex at a 20% discount on Steam right now. The expansion is available for £19.99 (original price is £24.99), but if you don’t own Arma 3 it’ll set you back a cool £44.99.
