Blood has been a long-dormant franchise from a storied developer, but some of its original creators have just teased something regarding the series on Twitter.
Blood was the first game from Monolith Productions, the studio which would go on to create titles like F.E.A.R., No One Lives Forever, Condemned, and Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Blood itself was a hyper-violent Doom-like from the late 90s, with voxel-based graphics and myriad references to classic horror. It managed to spawn expansions and a full sequel, but nothing since the turn of the century.
But original Monolith founder Jason “Jace” Hall recently posted a picture of himself meeting with Nick Newhard, the designer and programmer of Blood.

So let the speculation commence! New sequel? Kickstarted remake? Source code release? Who can say! In any case, Mr. Hall has quite successfully stirred the hearts of Blood fans.
