Blade & Soul, the free-to-play Korean martial arts MMO, is getting more stuff! For free!
First off is a new character class: the Warlock. A mid-range fighter, the Warlock focuses on snares, quick combos, and dark summons to deal with their enemies. To help along players who want to master the Warlock’s skills, the maximum number of character slots is increasing to eight, and every player gets a free extra slot as part of the update.
In addition to that, the Nayru Labyrinth will challenge high level players with a new three-stage encounter that will be randomized every time you play. The Heroic dungeon will be available to challenge groups of either 6 or 4 players.
Mushin’s Tower will also be offering challenges in the form of a Heroic single player encounter, as players can now challenge the eighth level, where Mushin himself will stand ready to fight.
To top off all that content, an accompanying will add new features, balance changes, and general patches and tweaks. You know, the kind of things you’d expect. Unchained will be un…chained on March 2.
