Team17 have released a brand new trailer for their upcoming game – Worms W.M.D. In addition to this trailer, Team17 have also created an infographic featuring some interesting statistics relating to the Worms series.
According to the infographic, the Worms series has sold over seventy million copies, supposedly that is over eight hundred times more than the population of worms in Germany. You can check out the infographic at the bottom of this report.
The Worms W.M.D trailer shows off the classic multiplayer action players can expect from the newest game in the series. For the first time in the series, players will be able to use vehicles such as helicopters and tanks. There’s also the brand new option to enter buildings which opens up plenty of strategic options. The multiplayer section of Worms has always remained a fan favourite, fortunately Team17 are aware of this and have been trying to make it even better. The local couch co-op and online modes support up to six players, giving each player eight worms.
Worms W.M.D is scheduled to release later this year for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
