You’ve got to hand it to Blizzard–even when you’re not playing their games, their over-the-top, pulpy storytelling is always fun to check into. This video for Legion, the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, may not be a proper CGI extravaganza, but it is a real fun way to get to know some very mean orcs.
Our hero, such as he may be called, is Gul’dan. Crippled from birth, exiled from his people, he gets into some dark magic and comes back to exact revenge on everyone who treated him badly. There’s more to it than that, but hey, just watch the video below. It’s a real good-looking motion comic, and those are fun.

What’s the deal with Legion? Well, the official description tells me that ”the Tomb of Sargeras has been reopened, and the demons of the Burning Legion pour into our world.” I don’t know who Sargeras or the Burning Legion are, but I do know that a demonic invasion is bad news for the people of Azeroth.
Legion is due to release on August 30, and will feature a new continent, customizable weapons, hundreds of new quests, fresh dungeons and raids, and a brand-new class in the Demon Hunter. In case you’ve been out of WoW for a while, you’ll even get an instant boost for one character to level 100, ready to adventure to the new cap of 110.
