Hey, it’s me. Gamewatcher’s resident American Truck Simulator evangelist. Are you ready for some ATS news? Well, hold on to your swindle sheets, because this news hits international truckers just the same.
Steam Workshop support is hitting both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 soon. If you’ve ever been to a mod site for either of those games, you know they tend to be navigational nightmares with twenty separate download buttons, nineteen of which will lead you to Adware City. It almost makes a body wanna give up their Peterbilt 379!
The Workshop will work just as it usually does. Subscribe to a mod and it will be automatically installed and kept up-to-date. Convenience personified! The patch is in the testing phase now, but should be the next update for both of SCS Software’s flagship titles.
In addition to that, SCS announced a brand-new wiki to help modders of all skill levels dive into the toolset. There’s starter tutorials, documentation, and instructions for keeping things up-to-date with the latest game version. Nifty!
Keep on trucking, my friends.
