Naval warfare game Man O’ War: Corsair which is based upon the Warhammer board game of the same name, has launched the new 0.6 update. The game, which is currently on Steam’s early access platform looks to introduced the Undead right in time for Halloween.
The 0.6 update introduces the Undead who man ghost ships that sail when the moon arises. This coincides with the new Seasons mechanic in the game that means the moons rise and fall and at certain times of the year. Firing your broadsides at ghost ships and swordplay with skeletons looks like a blast.
The best addition in the patch comes in the form of an all new crew management system. Each individual crew member can now be assigned jobs onboard ship, given new weapons and with experience levelled up to gain new traits. On top of this, Crew members can now be renamed and hired individually.
Many balance changes and bug fixes have been made to the game that should improve players early access experience with the game. Man O War: Corsair still have a long way to go until it reaches its final version, but it seems the developers are taking the right steps towards that goal.
