After four long years of on-going development, there's a big shake-up happening to the Armored Warfare. Obsidian Entertainment is off-loading its share of the work entirely onto My.com going forward.
As you can expect, the folks at Obsidian need the extra man-power to work on unannounced games, currently released games and those announced but still in the pipeline. Tyranny and Pillars of Eternity 2... we're looking at you.
Speaking through a statement issued on the My.com page for Armoured Warfare Feargus Urquhart, CEO of Obsidian Entermainment said: “At Obsidian, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work on Armored Warfare over the last four years. We are happy to hand off Armored Warfare to the talented developers at My.com who, we know, will deliver incredible updates and content to Armored Warfare fans across the world.

Adding their two cents, My.com had Yuri Maslikov say: "We are grateful for all contributions made by everyone on the Armored Warfare development teams, past and present. The restructured Armored Warfare development team is continuing the current development and update plans and will be dedicated to deliver content to our worldwide players in the most consistent manner.“
While you would normally expect something to take a hit when a shared development becomes attached to a single workforce, the group assures every currently announced aspect of the game will make it into its 2.0 release. You can sign up and play for free here.
