Between a few minor updates here and there, Frontier Developments expands Planet Coaster with a seasonal update. Security and crime came in the last one, but the Summer update seems notably more cheery.
Dates for the Spring update took a little longer to form once announced, but the Summer Update - announced during E3 this week - already has a June 27 slot. Prepare for park festivities!
Make your park your own seems to be the focus of the update later this month, as fireworks are introduced to allow for some gorgeous displays and nightime celebrations. On the more personalised side, image and video importing will allow you to add your own custom content to signs and screens available to place throughout your park similar to how music importing works already.
You Can Play Planet Coaster (Or Just About Any Game) In Your Samsung GearVR
Several new rides and rollercoasters are planned - like the Gnarler, De-Gen, Bolt and Iron Claw with Wooden Coasters becoming more customisable with new paint jobs and more flatrides becoming manually usable like the Go-Karts from the Spring update. Additional scenarios and 'Fourth of July' styled scenery will become available, too.
We can imagine the anime-inspired parks already. With the community already submitting over 120,000 custom creations since the game's launch last year, we can see that multiplying quickly at the end of the month. Can we request someone remakes the themepark from NieR: Automata, or do we have to do it ourselves?
