Writing up so many news stories per day, it's hard to imagine there's anyone out there with no games to play over any given period of their free time. There's too many, they're too cheap too often and they're usually pretty good. But if you're still in need of something new to play, there's two major sales going down this weekend.
Both Square Enix and Bandai Namco have decide to ring in what some consider to be the 'Half-Term' by slashing the prices of their more familiar franchises.
For Square Enix, this means whacking the prices of Tomb Raider, Just Cause, Deux Ex and Hitman titles by up to 75% through Steam. Coinciding with the 30th anniversary sale of the whole Final Fantasy series, there's no shortage of gems to consider adding to your apparently lacking Steam library here. For some reason, they've even included the free-to-play Mobius Final Fantasy in their highlight reel - so we'll just imagine the in-app purchases have taken a dip too. For those needing a recommendation, Life is Strange: The Complete Season for £3.99 is the best purchase you'll make all year - god forbid immortality becomes viable and incredibly cheap.

On the Bandai Namco side of things, this one's purely for the anime affectionate out there. Dubbed the 'Play Anime' sale, there's steep discounts on the 'Tales Of' franchise with both Dragonball Xenoverse titles taking a hit alongside the numerous Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm packages. There's a number of One Piece titles, Saint Seiya and God Eater 2: Rage Burst in for good measure, too.
If you happen to find nothing of interest on either side of these sales, there's still random savings on multiple titles across the Humble store and Steam. Don't be without a good game this weekend. That's a waste of perfectly good money.
