DiRT 4. It's a game that made a shock appearance after a closed-door media event in early 2017. Launching in the middle of the same year, it surprised everyone who was expecting the title to have been revealed and released back in 2015 following a Nvidia driver basically outing its existence as early as 2015.

Finally sitting within the Steam library of racing enthusiasts, we can hope the long development cycle of DiRT 4 will mean it has an equally long life ahead of it. In anticipation for the all the races, car crashed and likely system hangs, we're going ahead with another Patch Notes page to keep track of this realistic rally racer.

A number of PC-specific fixes here mean those running AMD's R9 series GPUs should see less system crashes when racing in rainy conditions with various other hands and graphical errors being patched out too. Grade E car parts should no longer cause a crash, either. So that's handy.
