It's probably something we should have included on our Top 10 Underappreciated Action games but, for whatever reason, didn't. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is due to release in just two weeks, but it's launch trailer has popped up early.
And not through user error, either. Timed to go live this very minute, we're not sure we can class it as a launch trailer at all. But it's a trailer, and that's about all we could ever really ask for.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition leaked a long time ago through a mixture of files displayed in a public place and a now famous ratings board spilling the beans far too early. Eventually announced at The Game Awards late last year, we're inching closer to to the re-release of a brutal shooter than stirred up minor controversy in the last console generation and was forgotten about just as quickly as its negative reputation among mainstream media.
Focusing on the art of a player's creative shots rather that than just the effort of rushing through its story, the original Bulletstorm game about through a partnership with Epic Games and People Can Fly. Essentially a mix of Epic Games' own Gears of War 'bro-shooter' genre with the wackiness of an arcade game, it was all about slide-tackling your way through enemies and shooting them in the crotch and racking up points for the most part.
Thankfully, it all looks to be more or less in-tact with Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition offering more of the same with a few extra campaign add-ons, all the previously released DLC and an extra appearance of similarly mouthy character Duke Nukem for those who pre-order. April 7 is the day we're waiting for.
