In just one days time, Epic Games' in-development MOBA title 'Paragon' will get its second new character addition in a single month.
Following on from Seraph's release earlier this month just shortly after the Monolith update reworked the entire game, Aurora brings her cold heart over for to break the ice.
Though the playerbase is divided following the developer's last few releases being melee-heavy rather than padding out its lack of Ranged-based characters, the overall consensus is that she's certainly another worthwhile addition to the cool list - whether that's to do with the ice or not is up for individual debate.
Paragon's Monolith Update Dropped Earlier This Month - But What Did It Bring?
Aiming to be the one to kick-start a brawl, Aurora specialises in limited the movement of her opponents. Her keen control over the climate allows her to freeze enemies in place with her Hoarfrost ability while closing gaps, splitting the teams or otherwise diving into battle with the Glacial Charge ice trail. Her right-mouse click will see her lunge to her destination with an ice clone staying behind to act as a handy confusion mechanic. When she's ready, Aurora can shake the frozen ground beneath her to encase her enemies in ice before detonating their crystal cages for some large, spreading blast damage.
Coming through tomorrow's update, it's likely we'll see a few more balance changes come along for the ride. Just like the game itself, Paragon's champions are all free to play; so it shouldn't be too difficult to get a taste of her for yourself.
