First Update of the Year Adds Silenced Pistol To Fortnite Battle Royale [UPDATE: Healing Campfires out next week!]

Since we posted this story about the Silenced Pistol available now, Epic have revealed that a new equipment item will also be added to Fortnite Battle Royale next week. The 'Cozy Campfire', seen below, will be live on the game next week and it "slowly rejuvenates the health of all nearby players". Neat, although one rocket will sort that out.

Epic's shooter Fortnite: Battle Royale just received it's first 2018 update today, and it adds a new silenced pistol to the game. Based off what looks like the USP Match, the new stealthy gun launches alongside a limited game mode.

The weapon comes in Epic and Legendary rarity and can be found in treasure chests, supply drops, and floor loot. The new Sneaky Silencer Limited Time Mode runs from 5th-8th of January, and features both the old supressed SMG's and the new stealthy handgun.

The update should be live now, and there will be no server downtime involved. Get in there and start shooting!
