Anthem Cataclysm’s Castle Kelrik is the second puzzle event you’ll have to wrap up as part of your Cataclysm completion, and though similar to the rest of the puzzles, it’s also got a few unique twists to keep in mind.
Kelrik the Valkyrie can be spawned during this event, though this is more difficult than in other Cataclysm challenges: prepare to match a whole slew of symbols as part of the Castle Kelrik puzzle.
How to complete Castle Kelrik?
While not all that difficult to figure out, we do feel that the Castle Kelrik puzzle is more complex than what you might’ve encountered during the Britaheim puzzle. In any case, there sure are more steps involved in getting it done, and there’s less room for error too, as you’ll need to match runic symbols with those that are showcased in the area.
Essence of it is simple, though. Players start off with two Arcanist Orbs, which they then need to use to unlock the remaining two. All four need to be slotted into the pillar that the centerpiece Crystal sits on, and they need to match the symbols shown on base of said pillar. Here’s the how-to:
- grab the two Orbs you do have access to
- match their symbols to the ones that appear above one of the two barriers
- pick up the Orb behind one of the barriers
- repeat the steps above for the other barrier
- when you have all four Orbs, bring them to the central pillar and match its symbols
- destroy the Crystal
To spawn Kelrik, you’re going to have to use three of your Orbs to match the special symbols that appear high on the Southeastern Wall. It’s not hard, but it will require some communication and goodwill.
If you’re looking for easier and more straight-forward Cataclysm events, either Ring of Magus or Casja’s Forge can do the trick.
