Baldur’s Gate 3’s hotfix update 3 is now live, its patch notes revealing further fixes for crashes and stealing from merchants.
As of hotfix 3 players should no longer be able to rob the merchants in Baldur’s Gate 3 by directly equipping the items straight from their inventory.
Dragging and dropping items into the trade inventory should also no longer cause the game to crash.

Below, you’ll find all the fixes introduced to Baldur’s Gate 3 in hotfix 3, as detailed in its full patch notes:
- Fix for crash related to showing a move preview with an AoO when in combat.
- Fix for crash related to surfaces requiring concentration.
- Fix for crash related to drag and drop of items in the trade inventory.
- Gale's Scroll of Resurrection is now correctly added to the player's inventory. </ul>
