As post-launch support for Baldur’s Gate 3 continues, patch 4’s release date is bound to make uncovering the secrets of the titular city and its surroundings a little smoother.
BG3’s patch 4 release date became a hot topic shortly after the launch of patch 3, which introduced both fixes and quality of life improvements and a sliver of new content.
Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 4 Release Date
Developer Larian Studios typically chooses to disclose information about updates such as these closer to their release date. This practice is the reason behind the lack of prior news regarding the launch date of Baldur’s Gate 3’s Patch 4. Fortunately, we are pleased to announce that the update is set to be released today, November 2nd.
Today’s extensive update boasts a monumental list of over 1000 fixes, adjustments, and alterations. Patch 4 introduces a much-needed setting for individuals with color blindness, and enables visual customization of hirelings at the time of recruitment.

It’s also possible that we might get some new type of content, like the Magic Mirror or an expanded ending for certain companions, but we’ll have to wait for official patch notes before we can say for sure.
