Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2</a> has recently had its original release date pushed back, as you might recall, but the good news is that not only will Armada 2 come out in January, but there will also be two separate beta testing phases to try the game out.
Focus Home Interactive have just announced the exact content frames for each of the beta phases, as well as the general time-tables for their release. Of course, to access them, players will need to pre-order Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 via Steam.
Beta 1 will take place come early December, and will place a particular focus on the testing of Armada 2's multiplayer features, and race balancing. Expect all 12 factions available, as well as the full capabilities of the multiplayer progression mechanics on show. Custom games, 1v1, 2v2, 1vAI will also be available!
Beta 2 will kickstart in January, and is planned to run all the way until Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is out and about. Expect all of the Beta 1 content, plus patches, fixes, and tweaks, as well as a significant portion of singleplayer/Campaign content, though no more than a taste of what the full game will offer.
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is slated to launch on 24th of January, with the price of €39,99. Mind, if you place a pre-order now, not only will you gain access to both of the pre-order betas, as mentioned above, but you'll also secure a tasty 10% discount as well.
