Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been a long, long, long time coming now, with rumours about its development going into circulation just over a decade ago.
Though Ubisoft confirmed that the game is under active development last year, we don't quite know just yet what it is actually about, but the developers are getting ready to showcase a Beyond Good and Evil 2 gameplay trailer before the end of the year.
There is now little to be found online in regard to Beyond Good and Evil 2 gameplay, short of watching in-engine footage that was originally showcased in 2017, and without any additional gameplay context. Though there's a lot of excitement and hype about BGE2, the fact that we know so little about it is enough to put many off.
In an interview with an Italian gaming website everyeye.it, Guillaume Brunier, the senior producer of Beyond Good and Evil 2, mentioned that Ubisoft are planning to finally show some proper gameplay footage on 10th of December. This comes as a relief after we learned that the major game event BGEFest was postponed to 2019, and which was supposed to bring news about Beyond Good and Evil 2.
With that, there's very little we can do short of waiting to see what the hell is up with Beyond Good and Evil 2, and hope for the best.
