Although it’s had a relatively smooth launch, Chivalry 2 players are currently having to deal with the game’s party invite system not working. The title itself doesn’t necessarily emphasize squad play in the same way as some of its peers do, yet not being able to easily team up with your pals can, obviously, be rather discouraging, which is why a fix can’t come soon enough.
Chivalry 2’s party invite not working errors have been rather common since launch and developer Torn Banner Studios is well aware of the issue. So aware, in fact, that a fix could be coming later this month.
Taking a look at the game’s roadmap, Chivalry 2’s Patch 2.0.1 is currently scheduled to fix the party invite not working errors that Epic Games Store users have been reporting.
Its current release is slated for the last week of June, although there’s no set date and, as with all roadmaps, things can change. The same patch will also look to fix EGS parties failing to join games as a group, as long as they go through its server browser.
As we wait for a fix, some players have managed to make party invite works by joining separate games and using the Social tab in the menu to invite each other. If this doesn’t work, it might be worth having just one player joining a game, while the invitee remains in the main menu.
As a last resort, you could also try repeatedly restarting the game. Unfortunately, neither of these potential fixes guarantee success and can take quite a while before they solve things.
