With improved tools for urban planning and graphical advancements, Cities: Skylines 2 is looking to surpass its predecessor in terms of realism and quality. Given these advancements, there’s a natural concern about hardware requirements. Thankfully, Cities: Skylines 2 GeForce Now support is confirmed for release. The cloud gaming service announced the city builder’s addition to its October lineup in a blog post detailing the month’s launches.

This means that as long as you’re an active subscriber and own the game on a supported storefront such as Steam, you can take advantage of its graphical improvements without having to worry about how strong your GPU is.
Nvidia suggests the following internet speeds for optimal gaming experience:
- 5Mbps for 720p at 60fps
- 25Mbps for 1080p at 60fps
- 35Mbps for 1080p at 240fps or 2,560 x 1,440 at 120fps
- 45Mbps for 4K at 120fps
Given the recent bump in system requirements, this is sure to be good news for at least some of us looking forward to the title.
