Aside from having the largest day-one content offering in series history, Company of Heroes 3 boasts noticeable improvements in terms of both visuals and tech. This, naturally, comes with a new set of system requirements that our PCs will have to meet before we can take control of the game’s four playable factions.
CoH 3’s PC specs have been updated several times across its multiple pre-launch tests but all signs point that they will accommodate older hardware.
Company of Heroes 3 System Requirements
Company of Heroes 3 takes advantage of Relic’s Essence Engine 5, which it also used to develop Age of Empires 4.
This translates to a higher level of visual fidelity than its predecessors across the board, from environments to unit models and animations.
Here are the minimum and recommended CoH3 PC specs, as detailed on the game’s Steam page:

- Processor: Intel i5 6th-gen or AMD Ryzen desktop processor with 4 cores @3GHz, or equivalent performance

Things are also looking great in terms of storage space requirements. We, thankfully, won’t have to dedicate too large a chunk of our SSDs to CoH3 when we finally get our hands on it.
Company of Heroes 3 is slated to launch on February 23, 2023 and is headed to PC. Its console version will then release later during the year.
