Company of Heroes 3 promises to be the biggest installment in Relic Entertainment’s real-time strategy game series, having players battle their way through previously unexplored fronts in its two campaigns. If you’ve been keeping an eye on it since it was revealed, chances are you might be wondering if it’ll be available on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2023.
CoH3’s presence on PC Game Pass would allow players who might be on the fence about the third entry in the series, or unfamiliar with the resurgent strategy genre as a whole, to give the title a shot without having to commit to a full, traditional purchase.
Company of Heroes 3 Xbox Game Pass
Although it is now confirmed to be headed to both PC and console, no details have been shared about Company of Heroes 3 also making it to Xbox or PC Game Pass at launch.
At this point in time, it looks likely that anyone interested in helping the Allies as they push through Italy or dabble in mobile warfare while helming the Afrika Korps will have to purchase the game as people did before the advent of subscription services.
- Company of Heroes 3 Xbox/PC Game Pass status: Unavailable at launch
This, of course, doesn’t mean that CoH3 won’t eventually make its way to PC Game Pass. Microsoft’s subscription service regularly updates its library. With a bit of luck, Relic’s RTS might become part of it at some point after launch.
It’s hard to say when or if that might happen, so all we can do right now is be patient and wait for an official announcement.
