Crusader Kings 3 is getting a fantasy total conversion mod inspired by settings like The Witcher and Dragon Age.
Anbennar mod creator jay10101 has announced that they are currently looking for collaborators to help build the Crusader Kings 3 version of the mod that’s known as one of the best Europa Universalis IV total conversions.
“Like our EU4 mod we’ll follow the same historical period as vanilla, and while in EU4 we explored what happens to a fantasy world in an age of gunpowder and reformation, in CK3 we will deal with fantasy at its peak: an age of knights and magic, with all with the undertones of political and dynastic intrigues that we all know and love – and for existing fans of the mod, you’ll get live through the legends, tales and origins of the stories you see in EU4.” reads a post on the Paradox forums.
Crusader Kings 3 Anbennar Fantasy Total Conversion Mod
Crusader Kings III’s Anbennar fantasy total conversion mod will let you play as a character belonging to one of several fantasy races including elves, halflings, gnolls, dwarves and others.
Characters will also be able to wield magic inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and pass on their magical aptitudes to heirs.
Anbennar also has quite a bit of established lore behind it. You can read more about it in the post linked above.
Although it’ll likely be a while before it launches, CKIII’s Anbennar mod sounds like a perfect fit for Paradox’s latest outing and will likely convert those who aren’t big fans of the vanilla game’s historical setting.
