With its first anniversary behind it, Cyberpunk 2077 is still haunted by the specter of its rough launch. Having released multiple patches throughout 2021, developer CD Projekt Red continues to work on fixes for the game, patch 1.5’s release date being awaited by many players.
Cyberpunk 2077’s patch 1.5 release date, and the update itself, was initially shrouded in mystery, since we weren’t sure if the developer would skip patch 1.4 altogether, potentially delivering a bigger batch of content than usual with its next-gen update.

“We are working intensively on the version for the latest generation of consoles, which will be released in the first quarter of 2022 with a major update - Patch 1.5,” Joint CEO Adam Kiciński said in an interview with Polish publication Rzeczpospolita (via Google Translate) dating from November 2021.
Cyberpunk 2077 major patches have so far been numbered in order, from 1.1 all the way to 1.3. The RPG’s official roadmap doesn’t mention Cyberpunk 2077’s patch 1.5 release date, but does tie its next-gen update to a Q1 launch window, confirming Kiciński’s statement.
During a livestream that aired on February 15, CD Projekt Red confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 would, indeed, skip to patch 1.5 while announcing that it will roll out across all platforms on the same day.
