You can track down quite a few iconic weapons in Cyberpunk 2077, but not all of them share Skippy’s charm, which is why you’ll want to know where its location can be found. The game doesn’t hold your hand when it comes to discovering optional content, which can make it easy to miss if you’re focusing on the ton of other available activities in Night City.
Skippy’s location can be found in Cyberpunk 2077’s Heywood district. It’s marked as a point of interest in Act 2, but you’ll need to head to the southwestern portion of Vista Del Rey, near College Street. Check the map for an exclamation mark that’s placed between buildings.
You can reach the alley by using nearby boxes to jump a fence. You’ll know you’ve found Skippy’s location when you’re looking at a dead body – which, admittedly, isn’t shocking for Cyberpunk 2077 – that has an open briefcase near it. Inside it waits the gun which you can pick up and use.
Skippy is a smart pistol that’s able to talk and sing thanks to the AI installed on it. Shortly after picking it up, you’ll be able to choose whether you’d rather have it aiming for the opponents’ heads – using its lethal Stone Cold Killer mode – or choose the Puppy-Loving Pacifist route and have it targeting their feet.
After 50 kills, the gun will switch to the mode you didn’t choose and seemingly stay in it forever. While some might be annoyed by its singing, others will grow to love it as a companion and a fairly potent weapon. Spend enough time with it and you’ll get a side quest that lets you track down its original owner.
With Skippy’s location now covered, also drop by our Cyberpunk 2077 guides on freeing Brick and the Second Conflict mission.
