Developer Three Fields Entertainment has announced that its upcoming arcade racing title, Dangerous Driving, now has a release date.
Dangerous Driving is set to release on April 9 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The PC version of the game will be an Epic Games Store exclusive.
“From the creative talent behind the genre-defining Burnout series, Dangerous Driving puts aggression back into the racing genre, recapturing the spirit of the past and elevating it to new heights. Taking full advantage of the power of current generation hardware, the game offers unparalleled physics and mass destruction as players compete against ruthless opponents across a host of unique locations. Moving at breakneck speeds, players will not only battle rival drivers, but also dangerous roads in 30 perilous courses, set across seven different locations.”, a press release reads.
Dangerous Driving will feature several modes including Takedown, which focuses on repeatedly wrecking opponents, Heatwave, which lets players “chain their way to perfection”, as well as Eliminator, where the last car standing is declared the victor.
Players will be able to compete against AI and, soon after release, 7 other human opponents. The digital version of Dangerous Driving will set you back $29.99/£24.99, while the boxed version, published by Maximum Games and including Danger Zone 2, will be available for $39.99 US/$49.99 CAD/UK £29.99/Europe €39.99/Australia $69.95 AUD.
