With Dead by Daylight’s Silent Hill chapter now in full swing, leaks have already surfaced, potentially revealing a first set of details about Chapter 17.
According to datamined information, Dead by Daylight’s Chapter 17 will also be licensed and could include some form of crossplay support.
The leaked information reveals that Chapter 17 will introduce a new Killer and Survivor purchasable with Auric Cells. Dead by Daylight’s licensed characters cannot, thus far, be purchased with Iridescent Shards.

Website Leaksbydaylight also reveals that, in terms of customization, the new Survivor character will get 3 outfits, 2 recolor outfits, 7 Body and Legs recolors, while the Killer will receive 2 outfits and 8 recolor outfits.
YouTuber Paulie Esther has also highlighted the datamined files which reveal that Dead by Daylight crossplay could be coming in Chapter XVIII. PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch players might soon be able to play with or against each other.
The leaked details don’t feature anything that might help with uncovering the identities of the next Killer and Survivor, although voices in the community are hoping for Candyman to come next.
As with all leaks, take this information with a grain of salt until developer Behaviour Interactive officially announces what’s in store for Dead by Daylight players in the game’s next chapter.
In the meantime, you can still take part in Dead by Daylight’s 4th anniversary event until July 7 and grab the latest Silent Hill chapter.
