The Dead Space remake is one of 2023’s most highly anticipated games and developer EA Motive has quite a challenge on its hands, bringing one of the best horror games back into the spotlight. The title’s announcement also raised questions regarding its system requirements. With current-gen consoles establishing themselves, we’ll start seeing an increased demand for better PC specs.
Dead Space Remake’s system requirements remained a mystery for a while following its announcement. But, having now gotten its own Steam page, we now have an idea of the PC specs we’ll need to face the Necromorphs once more.

It does, indeed, appear that Isaac Clarke’s return might warrant an upgrade if you’re rocking particularly old hardware. The full PC specs unveil some rather hefty CPU requirements, which you can check out below.

Being a Frostbite engine game that also launches on PC and only current-gen consoles comes with increased visual fidelity which, in turn, demands better PC specs.
The remake is also built in such a way that we won't see any loading screens or camera cuts outside of those times when Isaac falls to the Necromorph threat.
