As October steadily draws to a close, things are about to get much spookier in Deep Rock Galactic, whose Halloween 2024 event start and end dates have now been officially announced.
An annual tradition that comes with the opportunity to grow our collection of headwear, DRG’s Halloween 2024 event gives us a special limited-time assignment which, upon completion, unlocks the Creeper Wolf Mask, pictured below.

Having locked its start date to October 24, DRG’s Halloween 2024 event’s end date is slated to occur on November 7. This means that we have two whole weeks to witness Hoxxes IV’s procedurally-generated caves at their most frightening.

The Last Year’s Horrors assignment will also be active during this period, offering an easy way to secure cosmetic rewards that we might have missed during past years’ events.
During missions, you may also spot cackling skulls flying around Hoxxes IV’s caves. Shooting them down and depositing them in your trusty M.U.L.E grants double mission performance point bonus, which helps speed up your season pass progression.
Lastly, the Space Rig will receive a terrifying makeover which will likely have minimal impact on the amount of beer we can consume prior to heading out on new missions.
