Deep Rock Galactic’s Oktoberfest 2023 event is bound to make things on Hoxxes a bit more interesting, giving us new cosmetics to add to our collection and an extra reason to share one or more pints with our in-game pals between its start and end dates.
DRG’s Oktoberfest 2023 introduces two new limited-time assignments that we can complete in order to earn the new Lederhosen outfit and Sausagebucket hat.

Securing the former also grants any hats we might be missing from previous years’ Oktober fest events.
The latter rewards us with credits, crafting materials, Matrix Cores, and brewing ingredients, making it a great time to hop back in after a break.
Assignments basically ask players to complete a chain of specific mission types, so there’s no need to worry about forgetting how to send bugs to the afterlife while you’re at it.
In the past, some of them rewarded you with each completed step, while others waited until the final stage was done before showering you with goodies.
Deep Rock Galactic’s Oktoberfest 2023 event has locked down its start date to September 14 at 4 AM PT/7 AM ET/12 PM BST. Its end date is slated to occur on October 3 at the same hour, giving us more than two weeks to earn rewards new and old.

DRG’s Oktoberfest 2023 event also sees the Best Wurst Beer returning for its duration, offering dwarves the “highest-protein beer on the menu,” and sounding like something totally worth drinking prior to a mission, regardless of how difficult it is.
Longbeard Freight are doing what they do best and losing things inside the cave of Hoxxes. Recovering Best Wurst Beer mugs during missions grants a double Performance Point bonus, helping us progress through Season 4’s battle pass.
It also wouldn’t be a proper celebration without a decorated Space Rig, so we can expect “colorful fabric bunting, kickable hay bales and inflatable sausages (which do not belong in the Launch Bay), and even some real sunflowers.”
