Deep Rock Galactic’s post-launch support marches on in 2024, with at least two more seasonal updates slated to come following its well-received fourth season.

Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 Release Date
Developer Ghost Ship Games originally intended to keep the length of DRG seasons somewhere between 4 and 6 months, however, in late 2023 that changed.
The announcement of Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core led to Season 5’s start and end dates being pushed back.
DRG Season 5’s start date is now going to occur on 13th June 2024, as per the roadmap shared. Its end date is likely to be slated for early 2025 when Season 6 launches.

“In a perfect world, we’d continue full steam ahead on Deep Rock Galactic while developing Rogue Core at the same time. But we’ve only got so many helping hands on board, and only so many hours in the day,” the developer wrote answering the question of why it cannot work on both games simultaneously.
“Instead of trying to do a little bit of work on each game every day, we’d rather block out bigger chunks of time where we give one project our full attention. This might not be the fastest path, but we think it will allow us to give you the best games we can make.”
Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 Content
Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 Drilling Deeper’s content should bring a new theme that will act as a prelude to Rogue Core in some way. There’s a possibility that we’ll also get some form of new gadget that lets us more efficiently eliminate Hoxxes’ many hostile bugs.
A new Performance Pass will likely be introduced, with a new reward string and a new cosmetic tree through which we can progress.
In ‘Drilling Deeper,’ the dwarven management are extending your operational reach, sending you deeper into Hoxxes’ core in search of valuable Morkite Seeds.
The mission remains the same: four dwarves against a planet swarming with hungry, hostile bugs. However, as depicted in the artwork above, new adversaries are joining the fray.
Prepare for dangerous encounters with the Vartok Scalebramble, Barrage Infector, Glyphid Stalker, and an enigmatic new terror.
In addition, we also expect Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 5 to be accompanied by a new premium cosmetic DLC called Order of the Deep, which will offer a new armor set.
