Developers Terrible Toybox - makers of Thimbleweed Park - have released a standalone mini-adventure based on their neo-noir setting of the previous game. Delores, returning to Thimbleweed Park for a working vacation, struggles to understand why everything has changed. Delores is currently available for free on Steam.
Both Delores and the original Thimbleweed are point-and-click adventure games from Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, the creators of Monkey Island. As such you can expect a similar experience to the classic LucasArts titles, with plenty of puzzles and tongue in cheek humour.

Delores is not a sequel but instead came about as a prototype based on the studios new game engine and “was a challenging game to make because we had to use almost exclusively ‘found art’ from Thimbleweed Park to create all new puzzles. Also because we couldn’t go outside IRL.” As such, the game is being released for free as “something you can have fun with in these odd times.”
Delores is available on Steam for free, and the original Thimbleweed Park is currently on sale if you like what you play in the standalone.
