Publisher and developer Techland today revealed details about Dying Light 2’s first free post-lauch DLC, the Authority Pack. Set to release in three installments, it introduces new items themed after the game’s authoritarian Peacekeepers faction.
The first part of Dying Light 2’s Authority Pack is available starting today, February 14, on all platforms. Players who claim it get access to the Intimidating Jacket, Intimidating Cargo Pants, and Intimidating High-tops items.
The following two parts will add three other pieces of clothing alongside the two-handed Authority hammer weapon.
Each outfit item gives 4% resistance to damage when fighting human opponents, according to the developer. The whole set grants an additional 6% on top of that.
You can check out the items over on Techland.gg or in the trailer below. Once claimed, they’ll automatically make their way to your in-game stash.
The Authority pack is just the first step on Dying Light 2’s roadmap, which promises 5+ years of post-launch support.
Following shortly after, the Ronin Pack will also release in three installments, although its contents haven’t been detailed just yet.
Dying Light 2 is available now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. Its Nintendo Switch version arrives at a later point in 2022.
