Microsoft announced yesterday at their E3 Press Briefing that Xbox Game Pass for PC available to gamers in beta mode, and announced some of the titles that would be available immediately.
For those not in the know, the original Xbox Game Pass is a Netflix-style service for the Xbox, with a healthy library of over 250 games to play. The library even includes backwards-compatible games from the Xbox 360 and Original Xbox era.
The beta for Xbox Game Pass for PC will be half price ($4.99 USD per month), and will include 64 launch titles such as:
- Imperator: Rome
- Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
- Football Manager 2019
- Forza Horizon 4
- Guacamelee! 2
- State of Decay 2
- Tyranny
- Hollow Knight
- Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
Microsoft even sweetened the deal for Xbox owners who already have Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold, introducing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which will include Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for PC for one subscription price of $14.99 USD. It seems Microsoft is actively trying to bring Xbox gamers into the PC fold, since as it is Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold alone separately cost more.
