The Elder Scrolls Online players are in for a week’s worth of Double XP and gold, as the MMORPG’s Explorer’s Celebration Event has now begun. Available to all players, here’s what you need to know about its start and end dates.
The ESO Explorer’s Celebration Event had its start date yesterday, May 13, its bonuses being available for all players, regardless of which part of Tamriel they choose for their adventures. With the upcoming Blackwood Chapter launching early next month, now would be a great time to focus on leveling a new character.
ESO Explorer's Celebration Event and Double XP
For its entire duration, players get increased yields from harvest nodes with the exception of fishing, alongside double XP from all sources. Better yet, the experience bonus stacks with other boosts coming from scrolls or group multipliers.
If your pouch is a bit light, this is a great time to fill it back up, as the Explorer’s Celebration Event also grants double the usual amount of gold from monster kills, quest rewards, and “similar sources.”
ESO Explorer’s Celebration Event 2021 Perks:
- Increased yield from harvest nodes (not fishing!)
- Double XP gains from every source
- Double gold earned from monster kills, quest rewards, and similar sources
The Elder Scrolls Online has locked down its Explorer’s Celebration Event end date to May 20 at 7 AM PDT/10 AM EDT/3 PM BST. As the developer notes, the Impresario isn’t making a return this time around and there won’t be any Event Tickets or dedicated quests. Twitch Drops are, however, making a return this weekend.
