Publisher and developer Rebellion today revealed the Evil Genius 2: World Domination’s voice actors that will bring the spy-fi lair builder’s four main baddies to life later this month. If you’re getting a feeling of déjà vu, you needn’t worry. The first voice cast reveal actually took place back in November, when Brian Blessed was announced as the voice behind the intimidating Red Ivan.
Today’s Evil Genius 2 voice cast reveal puts Brian Blessed in good company. Samantha Bond – who you likely know from her time as Miss Moneypenny during the Brosnan era of James Bond films or as Lady Rosamund Painswick in Downton Abbey – voices Emma, a new villain introduced in the sequel.
“One of the four playable masterminds in Evil Genius 2, Emma combines cunning with an utter, seething contempt for humanity. Her skills and abilities are focused around deception, aiding players with quietly plotting their diabolical schemes in the shadows. Emma’s aim is not just to take over the world – she wants to end it,” reads an emailed press release.
Max’s voice actor is none other than Glen McCready, also known for voicing Signor in the BBC & HBO drama Years and Years, the narrator in Rebellion’s co-op shooter Strange Brigade, and undead airman Hector in Zombie Army 4: Dead War.
The fourth playable genius, billionaire scientist zealot Zalika, is voiced by Cardiff actress Rakie Ayola, who played Prime Minister Opal Folami in Noughts and Crosses and voiced Shola in Zombie Army 4: Dead War.
