It’s finally here, the first gameplay trailer for the much awaited sequel to the much loved Evil Genius. Evil Genius 2 World Domination looks to follow the same brand of tongue in cheek super villainy as the original, letting you live out that unspoken dream to conquer the planet.
Begin on your private island and slowly burrow deep underground, building your devilishly booby-trapped evil lair to house an army of minions and dispose of the agents of good… for good. The game will see you recruit movie-esque henchmen who can be sent off to do your bidding and commit comic atrocities the world over.
Your goal will remain the same but the means will differ depending on your super-villain character. The trailer shows us Maximilian’s Doomsday device but each playable character will have their own to research and build. The game will be coming to Steam later this year, but until then we’ll just have to be satisfied with the knowledge that our world domination is finally at hand.

Rebellion will be spilling more of what they’re calling the “evil beans”, during the Guerrilla Collective Showcase. Rebellion’s Development Update will feature on day 2 of this event, June 14th while the Showcase itself runs between June 13th and June 15th for those of you interested.
