If you’ve spent even a small amount of time in Fallout 76, you’re already aware that all manners of nasty beasties, such as the mole rat brood mother can spawn across Appalachia. Its varied bestiary is often a good source of crafting materials or even Atoms.
Here’s what we know about where the mole rat brood mother can spawn in Fallout 76.
Mole Rat Locations and Brood Mother Spawns
Mole rats are a common sight both in Fallout 76 and previous games in the series. You’re likely to have met and slaughtered quite a few in your travels.
While they don’t spawn as often as their peers, mole rat brood mothers are more resistant versions of the creatures that usually hang around other mole rats.
If you’re chasing them in Fallout 76, there are a couple of good locations for you to check first.
Mole rat brood mothers are known to spawn at Widow’s Perch, which is a shack built near the Forest, to the south of the Charleston Capitol Building. Another good spot to look for them is the cemetery found north of the Nuka Cola Plant.
The Poseidon power substation PX-02, found just north of Summersville and south of Tygart Water Treatment is also known to house brood mothers as well as their lesser peers.
