Fallout 76’s still has plenty in store for its players, as its roadmap clearly shows</b>, its Season 5 release date being the next stop on our continued journey throughout Appalachia. Its start and end dates mark the period of time during which we can chase a new set of rewards across its scoreboard, which helps those players who like to plan ahead.
When Fallout 76’s Season 5 release date occurs, we’ll also be treated to unlimited season ranks, although we’re not quite sure at the moment how exactly they’ll pan out. If the previous season was postponed due to a number of external factors, Escape from the 42nd Century’s start and end dates won’t deviate too much from the usual schedule.
Bethesda has announced during E3 2021 that Fallout 76’s Steel Reign Update drops on July 7. That’s 10 weeks after the start of the current season, which could also mean that Season 5’s start date is July 7.
Its end date, was initially slated for September 8, but got delayed by two weeks, meaning that the season lasts for a whole 11 weeks.

Escape from the 42nd Century’s extension comes after Bethesda discovered an issue with Season 5 rank-ups that rendered players who purchased ranks using Atoms unable to claim their associated rewards.
Fallout 76 is out now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
