Farlight 84 is a newly released <a href=https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/garena-free-fire-max-pc-release-date”>battle royale</a> game that’s been gaining a lot of traction lately. In this game, you’re not just playing as a silent default character with no personality. Rather, you get to unlock and play as a wide variety of heroes, each with different abilities on the battlefield, complete with voice acting.
Since this is a battle royale game, where the “more the merrier,” you may wonder if playing with your friends on different platforms is possible. So, is Farlight 84 crossplay? Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s cross-platform support.
Farlight 84 Crossplay Support
Farlight 84 is available on Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, and GeForce Now, and it features crossplay. Therefore, you’ll be able to invite and play with your friends no matter which platform they’re playing from.
But what if you get matched against a PC player when playing on mobile? Thankfully, the game has implemented a balanced matchmaking system.
When it comes to crossplay matchmaking, Farlight 84 provides two different lobbies. The first lobby is dedicated to mobile players only, while the other is a mixed lobby that contains both mobile and PC players.
Those playing on mobile or solo will be placed in the mobile-only lobby. This also applies if you’re playing with a group of friends who are also on mobile.
Meanwhile, if one person in your group is playing on PC, or if you’re playing on PC, you will be placed in the mixed lobby. Here, you will be matched against other players who play on both PC and mobile.
It’s easy to spot a PC player in the game. Other than having a Steam icon beside their name, you’ll likely notice that they have a more dynamic movement and arguably better aim. Don’t let this discourage you, though. Make sure to utilize all the tools in the game, such as armed vehicles, jetpacks, and many others, to ensure victory.
