Halo Infinite’s free multiplayer is now available, putting an end to the longest wait between main entries in the popular first-person shooter series. Alongside revealing when we get to play it, publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer 343 Industries have also shared the title’s system requirements so we can get a better idea of whether our PCs can handle Master Chief’s latest adventure.
Halo Infinite’s system requirements aren’t too accommodating if your PC is particularly old, which may come as a surprise, considering it’s also launching on Xbox One. Nevertheless, whether you’re jumping in now or waiting until its campaign launches in December, an Nvidia GTX 1050 TI should be enough to play the game, as long as you’re okay with turning down its graphical settings.
Here’s how Halo Infinite’s system requirements look and the hardware your PC will need to hop into its campaign and free-to-play multiplayer:

343 Industries has also confirmed that Halo Infinite will not reward experience after each completed match, relying entirely on challenges fro Battle Pass progression. The decision, as you can probably tell, hasn’t received universal praise.
Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer is now available alongside Season 1, while its campaign is set to release on December 8 and headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
