Developer Arrowhead Game Studios has unveiled the Helldivers 2 system requirements ahead of the third-person shooter’s February launch, giving us a good look at the PC specs we’ll need to deliver freedom and democracy via large quantities of lead.
Helldivers 2’s PC specs range from fairly accommodating to quite demanding, depending on how much graphical detail you’re willing to sacrifice during your playthrough. Although you can get away with older hardware, the sequel counts among the titles that will likely make more of us consider an upgrade.

A 4th-gen Intel processor paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (or AMD equivalents) are enough to run the game at its lowest available settings while targeting 30 frames per second at a resolution of 1080p, according to a post on the PlayStation blog.
At the other end of the spectrum, 4K enthusiasts who want to squeeze as much visual detail as possible out of the sequel will need PCs equipped with a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX paired with at least a 12th-gen Intel processor or an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
