Hogwarts Legacy is almost here, and gamers that pre-ordered are able to play early. If you’re interested in standing out from the crowd on launch, you’ll want to nab the exclusive cosmetic items available through the Twitch Drops campaign.
Get in-game rewards through the Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops. Some items may only be available through this method. This handy guide covers everything you need to know, including how to set up your accounts and the timing for the drops.
Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops
The Twitch Drops campaign for Hogwarts Legacy starts on 7th February, accessible during the 72-hour early access period for players that pre-ordered. The campaign ends on February 24th, providing over two weeks to collect all the exclusive cosmetic items.
To receive rewards from the Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops, you must create or sign in to a free Warner Bros. Games account. Connect it to your Twitch account, and then watch streams of the game by streamers with the Drops Enabled tag.
Hogwarts Legacy Merlin's Cloak
By following the steps above, you can access the majority of the launch cosmetic items. However, to get Merlin’s Cloak, a unique cosmetic item, you must watch the official Avalanche Software Twitch channel during this period.
You can start earning Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops rewards before owning the game, which is great news if you’re holding off on purchasing it right now or plan to pick it up later, when it launches on last-gen consoles or the Nintendo Switch.
Do note that you will need to claim your rewards on both Twitch and the Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops website. These are the cosmetic items you can get at the moment.
- Silver Dragon-Eyed Spectacles - Facewear Cosmetic
- Urchin Hat - Headwear Cosmetic
- Carmine Lightning Bolt Scarf - Neckwear Cosmetic
- Lilac Ensemble - Outfit Cosmetic
- Merlin's Cloak (only available by watching the Avalanche Software Twitch channel)
The first four Hogwarts Legacy Twitch drops are rewarded in order, each one after watching 30 minutes of livestreams (two hours for all four items) with the Drops Enabled tag. Merlin’s Cloak requires you to watch at least 20 minutes of an Avalanche Software stream.
