Fallout 76’s gold bullion is one of the many currencies/resources you’ll find while traveling across Appalachia and, if you’re looking to purchase items using it, you’ll want to know how to get it.
There are, thankfully, several methods of getting Gold Bullion in Fallout 76 and we’ll cover them below, so you can easily stock up whenever you might need it.
Fallout 76 Gold Bullion
Fallout 76’s Gold Bullion is a currency that was introduced in the game’s Wastelanders update. Using it requires first completing the update’s main quest, which means that, as a new player, you may have to put in a bit of extra effort.
One avenue that allows you to get Gold Bullion in Fallout 76, is taking Treasury Notes – a separate currency obtained from public events and daily quests – to gold press machines, which you’ll find in certain locations across Appalachia like Foundation, in the Savage Divide region.
Each character can obtain 400 Gold Bullion per day using this method.
In addition, seeking out an NPC dressed in patriotic garb called Smiley, – which you’ll find located at the Wayward, in The Forest region – allows you to purchase up to 300 Gold Bullion per week in exchange for your hard-earned caps.
There is also a chance that scoreboard challenges might also yield it, but you’ll likely find the previous methods to be more efficient.
As you collect the currency, it’s worth keeping in mind that a character can only carry 10,000 Gold Bullion, so you’ll want to make sure you eventually spend it.
That is what you need to know about how to get gold bullion in Fallout 76. For more help with the game, where is where you can spend the currency and find microscopes.
